No matter what niche your work in with your online business, building and marketing to your list should ALWAYS remain as one of your main priorities and focus.
So why is a list so important? Well if you make a sale to somebody, whether it be your own product or an affiliate product then you will make money from the purchaser one time, and then they may vanish into cyber oblivion never to be seen by you or any of your products again. But if you manage to capture their contact details then you can start building a relationship with that person.
If you get that person on your mailing list, then you can start building their trust in you by continually providing them with valuable information. You can then market to them over and over again, and once they get to know and trust you then they are much more likely to buy from you over and over again.
Your list is THE most powerful component of your business. That is why it is so important you never let your focus on list building and nurturing your list ever drop. Continue to build your list and form the trust in them that will make them excited to receive your emails and you have the foundation to a long lasting and fruitful relationship.

I couldn’t agree more about the importance of list building. So many courses completely ignore the subject.
It is an unsolvable puzzle to me why. It may be because it is not possible to cover the subject easily in 1 to 3 steps. And it involves a lot of work on the part of the students. That of course never sells well if the truth about it is told. That must be why it is so hard to find a concise information that is not just an incomplete list of steps.
I find it funny how some Ezine articles that even rank high in search engines cover the whole subject in 5 or 7 steps in less than 500 words. I started blogging on the subject and I’m beginning to realize I might have dug myself into a hole.
But I’ll try very hard to make it as clear as possible. I’m still figuring it out myself.
I’ll be visiting your blog periodically to see what you have to say about it.
